role is diverse and flexible, and will suit a range of personal skills and preferences. We will look at what interests you the most:
Ready Steady Mum’s group leaders:
Ready Steady Mums groups are fun and informal social walking groups for parents and carers. These groups meet weekly at the same time and venue which helps support families with routine and structure. These groups are free and a great way for parents to meet other parents locally. There are opportunities available for leading the walking groups, as well as helping to create new groups and walking routes.
Group and activity supporters:
You will support our team to deliver groups and activities to children, parents and carers. There are a variety of different activities available, for example: support the delivery of our workshops; help run health roadshows; and support families during child health clinics. You will be actively promoting key public health messages, encouraging healthy outcomes for children and families.
You will support parents, carers and families in the community who may find it daunting to access health services, groups and activities in their local community. For example, you may meet someone outside a toddler group or clinic, and go into the activity/group with them. This will enable the family to access community groups.
